The aim of this research section is to study the genetic and epigenetic basis of psychiatric diseases by collecting cohort data and analysing large patient samples in collaboration with international biobanks.
A further research focus is the refinement and personalization of psychiatric pharmacotherapy by means of pharmacogenomics.
We collaborate in research projects with research groups of the Institute of Human Genetics at the University Hospital Bonn and with partners worldwide.
