Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

The care of ALS patients is severely underfunded in the German healthcare system. For an optimal care of an ALS patient, further experts are necessary in addition to the neurological care. This is not sufficiently reflected in the area of statutory (GKV) or private health insurance (PKV). According to data from the Charité, health insurance companies currently cover only 33% of the costs of care.

Until there is a political solution, we are dependent on donations.

Donations can be made once or on a regular basis, as well as on special occasions (anniversary, company party, bereavement). Please indicate this in the purpose of your donation in order to facilitate allocation.
