If you are interested in an internship or hospitation and also as a famulant or the practical year, you are always welcome. Here you will have the opportunity to get to know neurological clinical pictures and their diagnostics with a focus on neurodegeneration.
We are pleased about your interest. As part of your medical studies, you can complete both a clinical traineeship and a practical year tertial with us.
You will be comprehensively trained in the diagnosis, therapy and care of patients with neurodegenerative diseases. We would be happy to organize such a stay in cooperation with the Department of Neurology.

Internship Neuropsychology
In the Clinic for Neurodegenerative Diseases and Gerontopsychiatry of the University Hospital Bonn, internship positions are to be filled. Currently, internships are available from mid-November 2021 as well as from March 2022, from April 2022, from May 2022 and from June 2022.
The Internship comprises at least 8 weeks full or part time (min. 15 hrs/week)
Our requirements
- Registered Bachelor or Master student*in (m/f/d) psychology/neuro-science with focus on neuropsychology, biopsychology, neuroscience or comparable
- Strong interest in neuropsychological issues and work content
- Above average academic performance
- Very good PC skills, including MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Fluent German
Your tasks
- Getting to know important neuropsychological as well as psychiatric clinical pictures such as Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neuron diseases, frontotemporal disorders, depression, anxiety disorders.
- Familiarization with neuropsychological methods and topics of clinical neuropsychological diagnostics for outpatients as well as inpatients, neurological patients
- Preparation, implementation, data entry, evaluation of neuropsychological examinations and, if necessary, cognitive training procedures for inpatients and outpatients
