The Centre for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine comprises five interdisciplinary polyclinics, Clinical Research Group 208, the Department of Oral Medical Technology and central functional areas.
Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral, Maxillofacial and Plastic Facial Surgery
The Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral, Maxillofacial and Plastic Facial Surgery covers the entire spectrum of this specialist area, focusing on traumatology, tumour surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery, including aesthetic surgery of the head and neck region.
Polyclinic for Conservative dentistry and Periodontology
The Polyclinic for Dental Preservation and Periodontology provides care for patients with periodontal diseases, offering the entire spectrum of tooth preservation therapies, including dental prophylaxis and treatment for children.
Polyclinic for Dental Prosthetics, Propaedeutics and Materials Science
The Polyclinic for Dental Prosthetics, Propaedeutics and Materials Science offers the entire spectrum of treatment with dental prostheses, including prosthetic restoration on implants, functional diagnostics and conservative temporomandibular joint therapy.
Polyclinic for Orthodontics
The Orthodontic Clinic performs all orthodontic treatments for the correction of malocclusion and bite abnormalities in children, adolescents and adults. In cooperation with the Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, it also treats patients with cleft lip, cleft palate and pronounced bite abnormalities in adulthood.
Oral Medicine Technology
The Department of Oral Medicine Technology conducts a wide range of studies in collaboration with the centre's various polyclinics and research facilities. These studies serve to scientifically evaluate various treatment methods and improve therapeutic approaches with a physical basis.
