MIB – Medical Imaging Center Bonn
The Medical Imaging Center Bonn (MIB) is a dedicated center of competence, where the imaging activities of the Medical Faculty Bonn are brought together. The interdisciplinary networking within existing structures will be strengthened and networking with external partners from science and industry will be intensified.
The MIB aims to facilitate the use of imaging procedures both in research as well as in the clinical routine and to foster an increased knowledge exchange.
The establishment of the MIB is expected to enhance the attractiveness of Bonn as a top location for scientists, students and industrial partners alike while increasing its competitiveness.
In addition, it is intended to use automated analysis procedures based on artificial intelligence. This will enable more research results to be developed and implemented in the shortest possible time using state-of-the-art imaging technologies.
