MER Panel
The Medical Education Research Panel (MER Panel) currently consists of medical students at the University of Bonn who are interested in participating in medical education research studies. The goal of these studies is to establish a scientific basis upon which medical education can be improved.
Dr. Matthias Laupichler
Panel Leader
Effective reach
The MER Panel allows us to invite a large number of medical students to participate in new studies simultaneously. This enables the Institute for Medical Education to achieve sample sizes that yield reliable conclusions. Furthermore, registration with the MER Panel ensures a representative sample of Bonn medical students can be surveyed, which has both direct and indirect positive impacts on medical education
Representativeness
At the same time, registration with the MER Panel ensures that a representative sample of medical students in Bonn can be surveyed, which has a direct and indirect positive impact on medical education
Benefits & Framework
Participation is entirely voluntary.
Students are under no obligation and are invited to participate in scientific studies on a non-binding basis.
There are no disadvantages
Students will not receive spam, and registration is entirely independent of any non-academic processes, such as regular course requirements.
Directly supports medical education
By inviting students to participate in medical education research, we can establish a valid data foundation upon which faculty-wide decisions can be made.
Compliant with strict data protection regulations
Data is stored securely and in full compliance with the DSGVO. Naturally, you can unsubscribe from the panel at any time, without any formal requirements.
Planned Expansion of the Panel
In the future, the panel is set to be expanded to include additional health-related degree programs and further locations. Please feel free to contact the panel coordinator if you are interested in discussing this further!
