Researchers at the University Medical Center Bonn (UKB) and the University of Bonn have shown that more severe ADHD traits are associated with a higher willingness to take risks, more frequent speculative trading behavior, and lower average returns. Inattention is a particularly important factor in unfavorable trading decisions, for example, through careless mistakes or difficulties in planning and decision-making. The results were recently published in the journal Scientific Reports. More information can be found here.
