Another year of Carnival with even better costumes and more to celebrate...

This year we startet our christmas function at the christmas market, went to a spanish restaurant for some tappas and finished our night at the Irish Pub

We celebrated our first anniversary with octopus balls, cheese and self-made vanilla ice cream.

As a fairwell for our guest student Nobumasa Soda we organized a small get together in our kitchen with different dishes from Japan to Germany

We showed our guest students Sumin Lee and Nobumasa Soda a small part of our regional dishes. It might have been a little hot for this but still we all enjoyed.

The german lab members learned that japanes letters can either just indicate the pronounciation of a name or also include a characterization of a person. Different letters resemble a completely different personality. Amazing!

Finally our coffee machine arrived, now we are prepared for long ours of scientific work
