Neonatology

Every year we are treating more than 500 critically ill newborn patients. 

More than one hundred are very low birthweight infants with a gestational age of less than 32 weeks and a birthweight less than 1,500g. Also more than one hundred newborns with congenital malformations, needing a surgical procedure in the neonatal period, are treated in our department.

We are one of the leading centers nationally and internationally curing children with congenital anomalies in close cooperation with the Prenatal Medicine specialists.
