Radiology
In the last years great progress has been made in the feld of radiology. Diagnostic procedures allow for unprecedented high quality work-up of patients, and interventional procedures (“minimal invasive treatments“) have drastically improved direct patient care. Also with innovative radiotherapy techniques, like TomoTherapy, focussed radiation treatments with less side effects have become standard of care.
Diagnostics, Interventions and Radiotherapy
» Digitalized X-ray procedures, Ultrasound incl. Doppler Ultrasound
» Multislice CT, incl cardiac CT, CT-guided Interventions, PET-CT (cooperation with Department of Nuclear Medicine)
» Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) encluding highfeld MR, cardiac MR, MR spectroscopy, MR-guided interventions
» Breast radiology (e.g. X-ray mammograms, breast MRI, ultrasound)
» Digital subtraction angiography, Interventional procedures in all body areas and systems (e.g. dilatation and recanalization, stent/stent graft implantations, drainage procedures; uterine fbroid, aneurysm and stroke treatments etc.)
» Interventional oncology (e.g. regional tumor treatments, palliative procedures)
» Radiotherapy encluding TomoTherapy stereotactic treatments, afterloading
» Pediatric radiology
» Neuroradialogy encluding neurointerventions
